convert jpg images into pdf file

It can be easly done with “convert” program. Should be widely available on the Linux system (I am using this on my debian which I could install without any problem).

To convert jpg(s) file(s) into pdf you just simply need to go to the directory with the files and do the following:

convert *.jpg out.pdf

In case of the following error: “convert-im6.q16: attempt to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy `PDF’ @ error/constitute.c/IsCoderAuthorized/408.” please add the following lines to file /etc/ImageMagick-6/policy.xml between <policymap> .. </policymap> tags:

<policy domain="coder" rights="none" pattern="PS2"/>
<policy domain="coder" rights="none" pattern="PS3"/>
<policy domain="coder" rights="none" pattern="EPS"/>
<policy domain="coder" rights="read|write" pattern="PDF"/>
<policy domain="coder" rights="none" pattern="XPS"/>
